Item Description
Each is 1.25”. Neither has a back paper. The first button with large spread-wing eagle design enclosing their jugate portraits is Hake #3203. Side edge has a small missing piece of celluloid which also removed a small dot of the red and blue colors but for the most part seen only from the side edge with the exception of a single dot and a 1/16” hairline of missing color which can be seen from the front at 11 o’clock. About 98% of the visible area remains totally clean and glossy. A rare jugate and still most attractive. Second item is Hake #94. Large images surrounded by brilliant gold design all against deep red. There are very light tan traces of age between the portraits and a tiny bit above Kern. These marks are not at all obvious and the button retains its full gloss and color. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
