Item Description
Items are 5” to 5.25” tall including their straps. On first and third items the straps are in very good condition and on the second and fourth items they are Exc. The first item has strap holding 1.75” soft brown leather suspension to which is mounted an ornate silvered tin frame holding a large oval real photo with text “For President Wm. J. Bryan.” About 40% of the frame has lost its silver luster and the celluloid has light traces of stain but nothing particularly dark. Only example we’ve seen. Second is brass in shield shape and with eagle above text “To The White House Wm. J. Bryan 1908.” Very fine. Next is another leather piece holding a brass shield reading “Bryan/1908/Kern.” Light general wear but VF. Last is brass fob with raised flag design at center and surrounding text “Bryan/1908/Kern.” About 60% of the enamel paint remains on the flag area. Brass still has nice luster.
