Item Description
Hake #3003. Reverse is covered in tin with an original soldered on 1-5/8” stickpin although rather than being soldered at the 12 o’clock position it was done at the 2:30 o’clock position. There are a couple of small tan dots likely in the development of the photographic paper rather than any actual age stain. A couple of these are on the left of Parker’s jaw and a couple to the left and right of Davis’s mouth plus two near the top of his oval. These are all very small and light and the button itself has very little surface wear compared to what is typical for a large celluloid of this size. Perfect centering and mirror gloss. Rare and most impressive.
