Item Description
The first piece is 1-3/8” comprised of two brass disks held together by a rivet but hinged so they can slide apart. There is a small opening for a cigar and then when the two pieces are slid back into one the metal edge would cut off the cigar tip. Front of the piece reads “Theodore Roosevelt/1904/1912.” Reverse has large Bull Moose image with text “Progress/Prosperity/Equality Of Men.” Some slight smoothing of the details on the raised areas of TR’s head and cheek but still in Exc. condition and with much original luster. Second item consists of a bent brass wire with a loop at the top that would affix to a chain holding a pocket watch. From the center of the brass loop a second metal brass ring suspends a 1” celluloid button with a W&H back paper. NM and displays Mint. This item is Hake #234. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
