Item Description
Thin artboard has overall size of 16-3/8x23", w/top row having been separated from rest. Artboard has original pen and ink original art by Stan Drake. For Nov. 9, 1958 "The Heart Of Juliet Jones" Sunday page, which features eight panels (not counting paste-over title panel, which shows some aging from glue). Page deals w/town council board meeting to vote on approving a disfigured doctor for Health Commissioner. Juliet Jones tells the doctor that he's been approved, much to his surprise. Sixth panel has KFS copyright strip paste-over. Drake has signed and dated second to last panel. Margins have editorial stamps/text, printer labels and "Juliet Jones" title paste-over strip at center right. Could be matted together for an Exc. display.
