Item Description
5.75x8" tall display w/painted high relief composition bust of Donald Duck above "Donald" name block which has been attached to well-constructed wooden braced standee back.Possibly from a Canadian or French candy company as evidenced by decal on wood backing designed to represent tassel of Donald's sailor cap w/"Bonbons - 'Candy'" text. 1940s. Wooden backing has drilled holes for inserting 14 lollipops for display. Front left corner of "Donald" name block has had corner repair, reattaching part of "D" in name. Back has even aging and Donald bust has some color rubs. Fine overall. Rare and first we've seen in our 48 years.
