Item Description
27x41" one-sheet poster for 20th Century-Fox Gandy Goose cartoon. Printed by Joseph H. Tooker Litho Co. Inc., 1939. Poster features great design showing artist's drawing board w/drawings including two-headed pirate, boy w/guitar, animal character riding seal, cartoon duck and anthropomorphic hippopotamus. Area at top has bluetone scene from cartoon showing Gandy Goose in boxing ring against large, muscular pig w/shouting dog referee. Folded as issued, poster has some scattered edge wear and wear along fold lines, w/a few small holes and .75" splits at top/bottom fold creases intersections. Poster is o/w clean and retains bright colors. Fine/VF but would look nice if framed.
