Item Description
Pair, each about 5.25x8". 1976 hardcover for full year and 1980 softcover for Jan. 1, 1980 through Jan. 31, 1981. Each has numerous entries written in pencil by noted Disney Duck artist Carl Barks, including car trips w/his wife Garé, bird-watching and places visited. Collectors of note mentioned include - Bruce Hamilton, Don Phelps, Russ Cochran, Don Ault, Peter Ledger, Malcolm Willets and David Yaruss. 1976 book notes "King Cole" and "Parade" paintings. Barks signed his name in ink on title page of the 1980 book. Though not every page is filled out, both offer interesting insight into various activities of "The Good Duck Artist." Diary has piece of felt added to spine, but overall, both are Exc. Each comes w/individual COA from Jerry Weist noting these were from Bark's Estate. Charlie Roberts Collection.
