First is 1.25” with back paper by Pulver c. 1904. Two tiny nicks on the paper. Front pictures and reads “I Am For ‘Silk’ O’Loughlin.” He was an umpire in the American League working from 1902 to 1918. He also worked five different world series. He became famous for his unique style of loudly exclaiming balls, signals and strikes. This button is from his 1904 campaign when he ran unsuccessfully for New York State Assembly. Slight bit of grey tone scattered over the cream background but not obvious. Next is button which does have obvious stain. This is a 7/8” with tanned Bastian paper. Man at center is surrounded by baseball design with repeating words that read in various directions “All For Ball.” Still with full gloss and c. 1910. Last is 1.25” apparent ‘Spoof’ button from the 1960s referencing the Minnesota Twins great hitter and reading “Killebrew For Governor.” NM displaying Mint. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
