Item Description
21x28" paper poster printed by Spinning Print, 1900. Text reads in part "Base Ball! Between Websters And" w/small blank area provided for opponent's name. Text goes on to read "At Nine-Mile Point, Webster, N.Y." and has blank "Saturday, 1900" date. Bottom of poster has "Come One! Come All! Ladies Respectfully Invited" text. Webster was a hotspot of early baseball activity in the earliest days of the sport, producing many 19th Century players of note, including Hall of Fame members. Left margin shows wear, w/numerous small margin chips. Bottom margin is affecting to a lesser degree. Evenly aged. Small .25" hole at "Nine-Mile" name and below "Webster" name at center left of poster. Top "Base Ball" text line and large "Webster" name have lines of wear w/some small holes. Poster still displays Fine overall.
