Buttons are 3/4" to 1-1/2" and arranged in close to chronological order, most c.1912-1940 with one later plus a pair of 3-3.5" tall Townsend convention badges from 1938 and 1940. In photo order: "Good Roads" c.1913; "American Woman's League/Founder's Chapter" bronze lapel stud c.1910; "The Laborers International Protective Union Of America" c.1903 enamel on brass; "I.L.A." early 1900s enamel for Longshoremen; "I Gave To A Berkshire Striker" 1915 hosiery workers strike in Reading, PA; "Steamboatmen's Union" by Brunt c.1915; Kansas 1914 convention of Anti-Horse Thief Association; "Temperance" related c.1915; "League Of Nations" c.1920 by Hyatt; "Repeal" has stud c.1932; Lincoln Brigade Spanish Civil War c.1939 with slight dent; Aid Spanish children c.1936; Chinese Civilian Relief c.1940; Greek Sympathizer c.1943; Woodworkers Union I.W.A/AFL-CIO c.1950s; "Visitor/Delegate convention badge has three hairline splits on fabric 1/2" or smaller. Still sound condition. Townsend on brass fob with reverse details "Third Townsend National Convention" in L.A. 1938. Last item has ribbon with text "Voting Delegate" with slight fade. Brass fob with jugate of "Dr. F. E. Townsend" and "R. C. Townsend" plus text for 1940 St. Louis "5th National Convention". All Exc. to Mint except as noted.
