Item Description
1.25" with light dust tone on back paper by maker A. R. Lopez of Boston. Front reads "I Helped 8 Hour Becker Brainard Strikers". This was milling machine company in Hyde Park, MA at the time engaged in making munitions for World War 1. On July 29, 1915, one hundred machinists voted to strike as part of a series of eight hour day strikes that began that summer in Bridgeport, CT and then spread. Very minor surface wear seen only in reflected light. VF but displays Mint. Only example we've seen in five decades.
