Item Description
The first photo begins with a pair of 2.25" buttons from Philadelphia's 32nd from 1907 and 1908. The 1908 has small age marks. There are 39 buttons mostly in RWB and mostly naming local candidates. There are a few dupes a few not campaign and about three with small damage. Next are seven presidential hopefuls including uncommon 3" 'RFK" and 3.5" cardboard back "Gannett". Lower center are 12 railroad service awards. These are brass and enamel with stud backs. The first for "5 years" is from "B. L. F. & E." while the rest are all "B Of R T" and awards for years of service: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60. A remarkable series. Last are five misc labor buttons and a gorgeous early 1900's Chicago ribbon badge for "Barbers Local No. 576". Near Mint. In the second photo is a collection of "Sheriff" badges, tabs and star pins. This collection consists of 19 tabs, three tin stars with pin-backs, one early real photo stickpin, six buttons reading "Frankel For Sheriff", and 24 other buttons of which eight of these show some age marks. 90% of the items remain totally clean and a rather extensive collection with most pieces from the 1950s but a couple of earlier.
