Item Description
Lot of four artboards ranging in size from 11.5x12.5" to 11.5x14.5" w/pen and ink original art by "Sad Sack" creator George Baker. Art is for Harvey Publications "Sad Sack" comics #83 (1958), #116 (1961), #137 (1963) and #140 (1963). Scenes include -Sad Sack in space satellite, breaking mug over Sarge's head in Mess Hall, dumping spaghetti on Sarge's head and ice-skating w/woman and accidentally ripping Sarge's pants w/ice-skate. Muttsy the dog appears in three. All have been signed by Baker in ink at bottom left or right. Scattered editorial notes at margins, o/w image areas will mat and frame for Exc. appearances.
