Item Description
11x17" thin BlueLine Pro artboard has pen and ink original art for cover recreation of Aug., 1980 issue of "Marvel Premiere." The original cover by Ron Wilson featured Wonder Man hefting defeating Dreadnought robot over his head. This cover recreation has replaced Wonder Man w/The Thing of The Fantastic Four. Artboard comes w/acetate title overlay that has been customized to read "Marvel Premiere Featuring The Thing" w/Thing image in Marvel indica at upper left. This was attached at top of artboard w/tape, but has been detached and comes along. Artboard has been signed in black ink at lower left by Wilson, who has added "2007" date. Artboard has some scattered dust soiling along bottom margin but art remains Exc. Neat cover recreation w/a twist.
