11x16-5/8" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for page 29 of July, 1987 issue of "The X-Men Vs. The Avengers." Page features courtroom scene w/five panels. First panels features members of The Avengers - Thor (wearing armor, helmet w/face shield and beard), Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau), Captain America, She-Hulk, Black Knight and Dr. Druid, all of whom look on as X-Men villain Magneto is brought into courtroom. Second panel features members of The X-Men - Wolverine, Dazzler, Havok, Storm (w/mohawk) and Rogue. Third panel shows fuse box blowing, causing lights to go out. Fourth panel shows shock of courtroom spectators and fifth panel shows Magneto requesting solitude until lights are restored, causing Storm and Wolverine to second-guess the coincidence. Text boxes and dialog balloons are paste-overs. Art was for "Day Of Judgement" storyline written by Tom DeFalco w/art by Keith Pollard w/inks by Josef Rubinstein, Bob McLeod, Al Williamson and Al Milgrom. Handwritten/stamped title at top along w/handwritten story title/issue/page number. Top margin has slight trim. Aside from some lt. scattered aging to paste-overs and tape staining along margins, art is clean and Exc. Pollard has signed in black felt tip pen at lower right. Great page featuring an exceptional line-up of heroes.
