Item Description
Pair of thick 14.5x20-1/8" artboards w/pen and ink original art by Morris Weiss and Charles Voight for an unpublished "D'Arro" story. c. 1945. First artboard features Three Musketeers-influenced story showing D'Arro about to be ambushed at inn by armed men. Second artboard shows D'Arro accusing Count De La Priso of treachery as he has in his possession the ring that would give him claim to the throne. The Count attacks him w/his sword before guards arrive. Reverse of this artboard has partial aged personal label of Weiss. Both artboards have moderate aging/dust soiling at margins and are Fine overall, though art remains clean and displays VF.
