Item Description
11x13.25” die cut stiff cardboard display holds complete group of 24 brass rings, although one has popped loose due to a break in the cardboard that allows the rings to be displayed in an upright position. The rings are all brass with adjustable bands and a spring loaded cover on the top that was lifted up to insert a cap and then released to make the cap explode. Circa 1950. Card has promotional text “Wear It Like A Ring…Use It Like A Gun!! It’s Loads Of Fun!” Reverse has large cardboard easel for store display. Upper left corner has 1.5” crease with same on lower left although the crease here is more severe and has magic tape repair on the front surface. Brass luster on the rings has muted some with age and a number have pinpoint tarnish marks but minor in nature. No maker name but card includes “Patent Applied For.” Only the second card we’ve encountered.
