3-3/8x3-5/8x2" tall (5.75" tall w/die-cut display lid/back raised) countertop display containing full amount of 26 matchbooks, each w/image of Patrick Macnee as John Steed from the 1961-1969 TV spy series "The Avengers." Macnee holds his trademark umbrella and a roll of "Polo" mint candies, originally a British brand though text on this box is in Dutch. 1960s. Die-cut display header has some creases across Macnee's face and box has some scattered edge wear. Fine w/NM contents. An interesting Avengers-related piece and rare as a full box.
