5-5/8x7" hardcover "The Heath Readers Third Reader" with 260 b/w pages. Copyright 1903 D.C. Heath and Co. Front cover has image of teddy bear behind flowers based on art by Clifford Berryman, creator of the teddy bear. Inside front cover is neatly filled out in proper place in black fountain pen by "James Berryman/H.D. Cooke School/Three A Grade." He also signed the inside back cover in pencil. Exc. Comes with Hake's letter of authenticity.
