8x10.5". Lined paper torn from spiral notebook dated 12/1. Year unknown but likely 1970s. Letter is written in ink. Text reads "My Son Sam Is An Avid Reader Of Your Wonderful Books. I Was Hoping You Might Be Willing To Take The Time To Mail Him An Autograph Or A Picture. A Stamped Envelope Is Included. Many Thanks, Happy Holidays, Judith Tompkins Tampa FL." Area below has 3.25" tall hand-drawn image of The Cat In The Hat. Inscription reads "For Sam: One Cat, Hatted For Christmas! Dr. Seuss." A wonderful item in Exc. condition. Comes with Hake's letter of authenticity.
