Item Description
Two piece lot c. 1955. 9.5x14.25" unused waxed cardboard box flat for
"Cloverbloom '99' Oleomargarine" product by Armour Co. Box flat has illustrated
offer for insert premium "Davy Crockett Moving Pictures With Magic Viewer." Box
is accompanied by 2x4.75" folder strip comprised of the cardboard viewer glasses
and two double-sided action scene cards in printed process to resolve into 3-D
when viewed by the eyeglasses. The packet is #4 from total of eight different
sets offered individually as box insert premiums. Crockett is pictured on three
of the action scenes and the fourth is titled "A Friendly Indian" picturing
Indian only on rearing horse. All is Exc/NM. This is a file copy from the
archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to
that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
