Item Description
Collection of ten hand-colored Christmas cards. 19.25x27.25" wood frame with glass has opening revealing ten mounted cards. Nine of the ten are 3-1/8x5.25" with printed self caricatures of artist Fontaine Fox while the tenth card is 5.25x8.5" with image of The Skipper along with Toonerville Trolley which has run off the tracks and into a fence. Dates are 1953-1957, 1959-1963. Images are colored in either watercolor or colored pencil. Trace of light foxing here and there with some light dust soil. The nine smaller cards appear to be government issued postcards as some have a trace of postal meter marks on the fronts. Overall Fine.
