Item Description

1Overall size of art is 12x22" w/ image area of 10x18.5". Used to produce the set of six different flasher rings from 1972. Art is comprised of a translucent acetate overlay and sheet of thick art board. The overlay has all of the black art detail lines for the images. This lays over top the full color tempera paint artwork w/complete images although without any of the details that were done in black. The thin color art sheet is mounted to a thick sheet of crescent illustration board. The first three sets of images are for Count Chocula while the second three are Franken Berry. There is a 2.5" hairline split in the acetate sheet at lower left which runs across the Count's body and this has narrow clear tape repair on back and is only visible upon close inspection. The thin cardboard sheet w/color art has a 3.5" hairline vertical crease at bottom center that runs across the lower image of the Count juggling and again, this is only noticeable when viewed closely and art is exceptional and unique, overall still Exc. Art comes w/12.5x13" unused flat for both “Count Chocula” and "Franken Berry" cereals w/inset ad on front plus full back panel for the rings. Also comes w/three different plastic flasher rings w/full color inserts and each is still sealed in original cellophane pack. Ring frame colors and images are yellow w/Count Chocula juggling, orange w/Count Chocula pulling a rabbit from hat and yellow w/Count Chocula and Franken Berry as genie. The top edge of one cellophane pack is open, others are sealed and all rings and flat and rings are Mint. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
