Item Description
15/16" (24mm) listed as DeWitt-Sullivan as AJACK1824-6. Obverse features his portrait and name with leaf decorations on his collar and coat. Reverse reads "The Nation's Pride" with a pair of stars separating the three words. DeWitt's notation is "This Medalet Is Quite Rare. It Has Been Recorded That Only Twelve Copies Were Struck." Details are a bit smooth on his hair, collar (but details of leaf remain) and epaulet but overall extremely sharp. Upper right has 1/8" die break through the "a" of "Jackson" but near invisible without magnification. Fine and Rare.
