Item Description
Embossed brass shield 1-3/8" tall with detailed image of U.S. Capitol at top flanked left and right by flags with pair of center stars and pair of cannon barrels below. Beautiful sepia cardboard photo images show through oval openings at center. Lightly written on the cardboard photo back in pencil is "1884 Blaine & Logan." Top tip of the shield has lost a bit of its golden brass color but overall condition is Exc. with totally clean photos. Unlisted in DeWitt and Hake. An outstanding piece for these candidates.
