Item Description
9-7/8x16" artboard has India ink with transparent wash facial portrait of TV star Ozzie Nelson by Margaret Jane Thornton. Signed in gold ink "Every Best Wish To Margaret Jane Thornton From Ozzie Nelson And Harriet Hilliard." We are unsure, but Nelson appears to have signed both names. Board has some light handling wear and moderate scattered dust soiling. Art retains a bright, clean appearance and signatures are bold. VF. Also comes with 4x5.75" newspaper clipping featuring art previously described. Penciled text below reads "The Columbus Dispatch. Sunday, July 18, 1937." This clipping has been mounted on a large scrapbook page and just comes along. Comes with Hake's COA.
