Presidential hopeful 1912 and 1920 and Speaker of the House 1911-1919. Original frame 8.5x10.75" holds under glass 4.5x6.75" photo by Edminston signed on matte top "To Leroy T. Vernon" and matte bottom "Your Friend, Champ Clark." Small bit of silvering on outer edges of photo, mostly bottom edge. Overall Exc. From the collection of Leroy T. Vernon, a campaign manager for Taft and later Washington D.C. reporter for the Chicago Daily News. Signed photos are scarce.
