Item Description
Brass ring with adjustable band shows a batter on each side with crossed bats below. Top has high relief baseball design and reads "Base Ball Centennial" with the dates on the raised image of a baseball "1839-1939." Ring was issued in 1938 as a General Mills premium for Jack Armstrong and they recorded 46,501 distributed. The following year Quaker Cereals used the remaining supply as a premium. Small luster loss off the bottom half of the outer band but this retains nice glossy brass color and about 75% of the ring still retains bright original luster. An Exc. example of a rare ring we've had only about 5 times.
