Item Description
7.5x10.5" Comic cover proof is for an unnumbered 1944 comic titled "Ship Ahoy." This is one of L.B. Cole's earliest comic covers and one of his few WWII covers. Cover proofs were sent to Cole by printer to get his approval to print comic book. Cover proofs are of the highest quality with no printing on reverse. Some light handling wear with a vertical crease running length of right margin but this is only noticeable upon close inspection. VF./Exc.
