7-7/8x11". ©1943 KFS. Original pen and ink single panel from 8/29/43 Sunday page shows Prince Valiant holding sword with old man. Text reads "It Was Fashioned Long Ago For A King. Please Accept It That I May Know My Gift Will Protect You, As You Have So Gallantly Protected Me." Panel is numbered 342 at bottom left hand corner with date. Inscribed in black ink "To Steve Fingerhut From Hal Foster." Some light aging. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
