Large box is 12x21x3" deep and contains complete 5-piece set No. 56. Box is designed to be converted into a "hanger." One inside flap includes cut-out of flags and beacons. Building sides of the hanger include designations of "Ready Room/Maintenance Office." Box has overall moderate dust soiling and small age spotting but remains tight, Fine. The planes are cast metal and all have folding wings and retractable wheels. The largest plane is Navy Fighter Bomber #495, 10" long with sliding canopy. There are two matching 6.5" Navy planes, #467 each with removable canopy (both have shrunk slightly with age but can be positioned to stay in place). Final two planes are 5" long #430. Set comes with small catalogue dated 1958 featuring Hubley cap guns. Set is unused old store stock although with some tiny scattered paint nicks to the three green planes. NM.
