Item Description
27.25x41" one-sheet. Printed by Erie Litho. & Ptg. Co., of Erie, PA. c. 1926. Poster features great art of "The Dancing, Tumbling, Somersaulting Acrobat On The Wire - The Great Con Colleano" performing high somersaults (he is shown in four separate images) w/photo portrait at lower right. Bigtop scene w/Other acrobats, clowns and elephants can be seen in bkg. Upper left has penciled date in margin. Poster has not been folded but does have a few minor creases. Lower corners have inkstamp from from former collection and margins show scattered wear. Small strip of tape at each corner as once mounted. Left center margin has 1.25" Tear w/tape repair on reverse. Lower right margin has more moderate handling, but if matted and framed, poster would display Fine. Fred Hoffman Collection.
