Item Description
8.5" tall assembled and complete w/all flaps. ©1948 Superman Inc. Front of box has ad for Pep pins including images for Superman (see following item #2159), Orphan Annie and Moon Mullins pins. Side panel has ad listing 18 Pep pins and shows examples of Junior Tracy, Andy Gump and a beanie cap. Back panel features eight-panel "Superman" comic strip and from a numbered series of at least 12. This is No. 2 and titled "Superman And The Pirates." Back panel also mentions the Superman radio program. Box is lightly aged all over but still tight and displays nicely as assembled. VF. Scarce.
