Item Description
Hake #411. In addition to the slogan quoted in our title the lower edge of the button reads "Upholders Of Equality Before The Law." Bryan is pictured at the center within a diamond design with slogan below "The People's Choice." Additional slogans are "Ideal Americans", "Popular Statesmen", and "Down With The Trusts." Also pictured are Washington, Jackson, Lincoln and Jefferson. Reverse has W&H back paper. While this button is absolutely gorgeous in reflected light and very slightly to the touch there is a narrow vertical raised line at the center running top to bottom. This hairline elevated narrow line in the celluloid will catch reflected light in certain angles but is under most circumstances totally invisible. The button has superb centering, almost no surface wear, and absolutely gorgeous coloration. The button carries a 2004 guide value of $1525. In our experience it is the rarest of the three sizes. A super clean example and under most viewing circumstances visually perfect.
