Item Description
16-1/8x22" sign has been linen-mounted to larger 18x23.5" linen sheet. 1948 sign features large image of "Beautiful 24 Karat Gold Plated Hand Polished Ring - Nickel Plated Jet Plane" w/image of children at top w/boy shooting jet plane off his finger. Bottom of sign also features image of Pep cereal box which features partial image of Basketball HOF member George Mikan from Pep cereal premium series of Real Photos cereal box backs. Bottom of sign has "Get Yours Today! Just Send 1 Pep Box Top And 20¢" text and unused block for pricing at lower right. Kellogg's also offered this premium ring (see following item #2519) on the Superman radio program. Sign was originally folded and has some professional restoration along fold lines and to creases at upper corners. Staple holes along margins have also been touched-up and sign now displays Exc.
