Item Description
8.75x14.25" thin artboard w/pen and ink original art used for Topps tattoos that were issued inside bubble gum wrappers (see rare display box #2553). Artboard features six separate scenes, each about 3x3". Art depicts Lois Lane reacting in shock at finding Superman's suit in closet; Superman breaking chain w/his arm; full body image of Superman flying to save girl on cliff, full body image of Superman drilling through rock, cannonball being shot and bouncing off Superman's chest; electrified Superman connecting split wire. Done for the 1962 tattoo series. Exc. Unique. Comes w/three 1.5x3.5" "Superman Tattoo Bubble Gum" wrappers, featuring three same front designs, each w/different transfer tattoo on underside. All are different, featuring Superman wrestling plane, flower pot cracking over Clark Kent's head and Green Lantern charging his ring w/power battery.
