Item Description
Pair of 10x12" sheets of animation paper. First sheet is from same 1938 animated short as previous item #1780 and has penciled number "33" at bottom right w/image area measuring 6x7.5" showing bandleader Cab Calloway w/his hair flying about. Moderate margin aging and handling wear. Fine overall, but art remains clean and Exc. Second sheet is from 1939 Donald Duck cartoon "The Autograph Hound." Sheet is numbered "15" at lower right and has image area measuring 7x8" depicting stereotypical African-American depiction of actor Stepin Fetchit on his knees scratching his head. Art is mostly lead pencil w/additional color pencil accents. Art has some color codes in red pencil. Sheet has some lt. aging/handling wear but art remains clean and Exc.
