Item Description
From the same 1938 animated short as previous item #1780. This is from same sequence that involved W.C. Fields as Humpty Dumpty and Charlie McCarthy. Pair of 10x12" sheets of animation paper; first has penciled number "119" at bottom right w/image area measuring 5.25x5.5" and showing egg-shaped Fields w/cigar in hand and his cane in the other. Some red pencil production notations at right. Second sheet has "33" in pencil at lower right w/image area measuring 6.5x6.75" and depicts full body Charlie McCarthy image w/him seated in bird's nest. This features lead and red pencil w/some additional coloring to nest/tree branch. Red pencil production notations and color codes at right. Sheets have lt. handling and aging but remain clean and art is Exc.
