Item Description
Hake #245. 1.25" with W&H text at bottom and larger text above naming jobber W.F. Miller, New York. Very tiny text on curl and partially hidden reads "Copyright 1898 Rockwood, N.Y." along with additional tiny text naming W&H. On the side edge of the button there is a .25" long sliver where a hairline of extra celluloid folded beneath the collet but this causes no problem whatsoever as everything around the collet is completely sealed and there is no extra bump at this area. The front of the piece is about as close to Mint condition as possible and this specimen is among the few very finest we have handled. The design is perfectly centered, the celluloid has high gloss and almost no surface wear and the colors are stunning. Essentially Mint as made.
