Item Description
Lapel studs are 7/8" or a little smaller and the stickpins are to scale. First is rare multi slogan lapel stud featuring eagle, flags and shield. Shield reads "The American Policy 16/1". A ribbon design and dates flank the eagle at the top reading "No English Dictation/1776/1896." At bottom is "We Demand The Money Of The Constitution." Rare and NM. Next is silvered brass lapel stud with overlapping coin design and text "16 To One." Small loss of silvering from the raised areas. Next is "Free Coinage" lapel stud. Next is "Free Silver" lapel stud in silvered brass although only about 30% of the silver flashing remains to the lower right of the eagle design. Next is flat silver colored metal disk inscribed on the front "16/2/1". Tiny clip off the right edge. Reverse is flat and has text "Detroit Free Coinage Button Co. 1896." Next is a stickpin with shield design reading "16 To 1." Last is a stickpin with the head of a Phoenix. We don't know how or if this relates to the other Bryan items but it came as part of the Bryan collection. Numerous rare items.
