Item Description
Circular items are about 7/8" with the larger stickpins to scale. Group begins with finely detailed embossed brass bug plated in gleaming silver. Slight loss of silvering from the wing area and a little tarnish on a couple of the leg segments. Stickpin is reglued into position but done long ago and very neatly. Next is bi-metallic lapel stud mostly in silvered brass but center depicting a brass circular piece representing a gold coin. Surrounding text is "United States Of America/Free Coinage". Vertically the number "16" is above an eagle with spread wings with "To" on his body and then the piece in gold luster inscribed "1". Minor tarnish. Rare. Next is silvered brass lapel stud with center inscription "16/2/1" plus star accents. Rare and Exc. Next is cello lapel stud with "16" in silver and "1" in gold. Two faint tiny tan marks on extreme left edge. A little oxidation on the stud back. Full gloss. Rare. Next is clock face which includes "16 To 1" inscription and the clock hands are in the same configuration. No back paper. Cello is NM. Last is 2.25" tall stickpin with three embossed silvered brass segments holding between them a stiff thin cardboard American flag designed as a bow. Metal segment at front center inscribed "16 To 1." Rare and NM.
