Item Description
First is 1.5" white metal medal with McKinley name and high relief portrait on the front. Beautifully designed reverse reading "This Medal Was Struck In Commemoration Of The Patriots Of 1896 Who Voted For An Honest Dollar." Trivial luster loss. Rare. Second item is brass Maltese cross lapel stud with arms reading "Big Four Sound Money Club" and with large numeral "4" at center. NM luster. Next is celluloid lapel stud in a rebus format with the word "Gold" running vertically at the left along side the image of a bug in gold color so the combined word and image would identify the wearer of this lapel stud as a "Gold Bug." Blue background color is a little thin on the outer edge but no stain. Only example we have ever seen. Next is a 1.25" long embossed brass shell figural gold bug stickpin with tiny loop at the bug's head holding a circular piece inscribed "Sound Money" on each side. Nice luster. Last is 7/8" tall high relief embossed piece of brass in the shape of a money bag with a light image of a dollar sign on the front above the raised words "Sound Money." Bottom of the bag has two pointy prongs, and one of these has a very tiny bend. We don't know what purpose these little prongs served as the piece has a 1" vertical stickpin on the reverse. Full luster. Five scarce to rare items.
