Item Description
The buttons and lapel studs are about 7/8" while the two stickpins are 2" and 2.5". In order group begins with celluloid "Sound Money" button picturing a gold bug. Loss of a couple tiny letters from back paper naming Chicago maker J.Floersheim. Second item also reads "Sound Money" but this has a high relief die cut embossed gold bug attached to the celluloid button by a pair of tiny tabs that go through to the underside. Back paper includes W&H name along with "Aluminum Novelty Co." Next is stickpin holding a gold bug somewhat in the shape of a fly with the body made of an unknown substance colored dark gold and with six thin wire metal legs extending. Next is another stickpin with die cut brass bug soldered onto the pin. Couple tiny nicks on the pin shaft. Next is all brass lapel stud showing McKinley and reading "Protection Sound Money." Next is another flower shaped brass lapel stud with words "Sound Money" on the petals. Last is lapel stud showing a gold coin surrounded by the words "The Money We Want." Items are all NM to Mint. The second button with attached brass bug is particularly scarce.
