Item Description
Largest is 13x21/smallest 10x16". First reads "No Extradition/William Moaales Does Not Fight Alone Viva Puerto Rico Libre/Build Solidarity Defeat U.S. Imperialism". Graphic of a hand using paint brush that paints a Puerto Rico flag. Morales was a bomb maker for Fuerzas Armdas Liberacion Nacional (FLAN). In 1978, after suffering injuries when a bomb prematurely exploded, he escaped custody and fled to Mexico where he was arrested in 1983. Efforts to extradite him were futile and he was eventually handed over to the Cuban government in 1988. He remains wanted by the FBI for domestic terrorism. Pencil dated on reverse "12/85". NM displaying Mint.  Second poster features a graphic of U.S. war planes in a garbage can that reads "Go Home". Text in multiple languages at top reads "Day Of Solidarity With Puerto Rico Sept 23". Produced by OSPAAAL in 1974. Unsigned but designed by Olivio Martinez. Faint horizontal fold at center. Exc. displaying Mint. Marshall Levin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
