The Detroit Tigers won the 1984 World Series, defeating the San Diego Padres, four games to one. The season was their 84th since they entered the American League in 1901 and their fourth World Series championship. Offered here is a Rawlings Official AL Lee MacPhail ball w/20 signatures from the 1984 Detroit Tigers. Most signatures are in black ink w/a few in blue. Key players include - Hall of Famer manager Sparky Anderson (who has signed the sweet spot), Lance Parrish, Lou Whitaker, Alan Trammell, Darrell Evans, Chet Lemon, Kirk Gibson, Ruppert Jones, Jack Morris, Dan Petry, Willie Hernandez, Larry Herndon, Marty Castillo, Barbaro Garbey, Tom Brookens, Dave Rozema, Rusty Kuntz, Aurelio Lopez, John Grubb and one other. Ball has scattered moderate aging w/some signatures affected, but all remain distinct. Fine. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
