Item Description
35 of 40, each is 2.25x3-3/8". Issued in the 1950s by Ralston Wheat & Rice Chex (see cereal box #2560). They were packaged one per box of cereal. ACC# F280-3. Cards feature choice full color illustrations on fronts w/text for that specific image on backs along with list of cards for the three different subsets plus cereal ad. Subsets are: Space Heroes; Stars and Planets; Rockets, Jets, and Weapons. Missing cards are: Buzz Corry, Cadet Happy, Desert Of Mars, Rocket Over The Moon, Surface Of Mercury. Most cards have some degree of age tone to borders and/or backs. Only a few backs are noticeably tanned, rest only slightly so, if at all. All fronts remain glossy and w/vibrant art. Cards EX to NM+.
