Item Description
Original 6x9.75x1.75" illustrated cardboard box that once contained Daisy "Buck Rogers No. U-235 Atomic Pistol." Box is nicely illustrated, w/different art of Buck Rogers, Wilma Deering, spaceships and various aliens and robots on the four main side panels and one end flap, the other end flap featuring text only. Bottom main panel features gun diagram w/features listed. Box is worn w/repairs and three small inner flaps replaced. Box remains Fine for display purposes. Comes w/mismatched 10" long Daisy Atomic Pistol similar in style to Daisy's U-235 made in black or silver finish, but this is gold variety only made in 1946. Gun works and produces a loud pop. Designed to spark, though flint is missing and no longer sparks. Flint is easily replaced. Area above trigger on left side has embossed "Buck Rogers - 25th Century" logo w/full body image of Buck w/gun/company names. Gun has very minor wear, w/much gold luster remaining. Exc. overall, a high grade example.
