Item Description
Original 14.25x19.25x7.25" cardboard box w/illustrated glossy paper label on front. Remco, 1969. Box has even lt. aging and bottom edge of label has some small tears. Partial original store price sticker on front of box. Box is complete w/inserts and Fine/VF. Contents/features include - "Really Launches Missile - Space Control Center - Launch Pad & Operating Gantry - Figures - Rescue Coptor, Rocket & Astronaut Vans - Detailed Operations Area  - Tube Connected Earphone - And Real Recordings" that allowed users to "Actually Listen To Astronauts And Space Control Center Conversations By Electro-Phone Communications." 13x36" thin cardboard mat serves as playset's base and has labeled areas for placement of hard plastic pieces. Original plastic bag contains unused sticker sheets, hard plastic rocket, trucks (one w/separate trailer), helicopter, plastic tubing and sprue of sailor figures astronaut figure has some loose from sprue, o/w all remains as sealed in bag. Unused old store stock, and as such, we have not tested toy to see if functions work, but set is NM as issued and rare as such. Gary Keller Collection.
