13.5x20x1.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete parts for Milton Bradley game No. 4930. ©1969 Major League Players Association. Box includes photo images of baseball stars of the time, including many HOF members - Hank Aaron, Harmon Killebrew, Frank Robinson, Ernie Banks, Willie Mays and others. Box lid includes instruction printed on underside, noting "Game Includes Nearly 300 'Cards' Of Actual Major League Players." Lid shows some scattered edge wear w/color rubs and has two split corners and .5" tear to side panel. Fine. Complete w/die-cut cardboard insert (which serves as playing field) and factory-sealed tray containing sheets of thin cardboard cards that are perforated and meant to be separated. Each card features photo image of baseball players as shown on box lid. Well also contains two dice and wooden player pieces. All remain sealed and o/w unpunched as issued. Insert features two spinning discs for playing game, which allow player to "Pick The Team With Your Favorite Players Using Their Lifetime Record," each card serving as a baseball card of sorts. Exc./NM, old store stock and rare in this choice, unused condition.
